Bob Moorehead

One of the best sound coaches around and right up from Cincinnati is Bob Moorehead.  Bob has been a BHS-certified judge in the Sound and Singing categories since 1976. Just retiring after the contest season in 2010. Bob has been a member of Southern Gateway since 1965 and been a tenor with several JAD quartets including Act IV, The Naturals and Rumors.  Bob is currently married to Edie, baritone of  the Sounds of Music Queen of Harmony Quartet.  Bob is a highly valued vocal coach for Gem City Chorus.

 

 

Sharon Babb

Sharon Babb has been a member of Sweet Adelines since 1969 and has always sung baritone. She is a current Sweet Adeline International Board of Directors member, Certified Sound judge, and Music judge, Master International Faculty, coach and novice arranger.

 

She has directed four different choruses; High Country, Mt. Melody, Skyline, and Colorado Spirit and has served in many chapter and regional capacities; she loves quarteting and enjoys all aspects of Sweet Adelines.

Char Gurney

Char is the Master Director of the Scioto Valley Chorus.  She is a Certified Judge in the Expression category for Sweet Adelines International and judged both the 2006 International Chorus Competition and the 2007 International Quartet Competition.

Because of her hard work and dedication to her craft, she has earned one of the organization's most prestigious director awards: Master Director. Char obviously has  some solid barbershop genes as is evident in her daughter (and Scioto Valley co-director) Kerry Denino.

Kerry Denino

Kerry joined SVC as a charter member at the age of 13 and competed and earned International Top 10 honors with Success Express quartet.  Ultimately, Kerry achieved one of SAI's highest honors when she was crowned a Queen of Harmony as the baritone of Spotlight, 2006 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions.

Kerry's high energy and extensive knowledge of barbershop make her one of the up and coming coaches for the next generation of singers.
